What was the outside world like at this point, did the war finally end with the Zireh's victory, the human's victory, or a stand still in which the fighting might be still going on till this day. All of these could be questions of somebody who was conscious. Further questions would be how has the world changed if it did at all, and was that change for the better. For this specific spot it would not seem that way, an area shrouded in a toxic gas most likely killing off any foreign life that has accustomed itself to it. That place is actually where our story is beginning, well a little deeper in that specific area, in terms of underground and in the specific area itself.

The area we are aiming for is the center of this fog covered region, where the poisonous fog is at its densest. That would show the degree of nature can adapt, if even in this environment life can exist. However our efforts will lead us underground to an unknown cave system, probably not even fully explored by well anybody excluding the creatures that probably rule this area. How would these passages actually look, naturally they would be created from rock but what else might lie within the earth, foreign crystals, various types of rocks, basically materials that the world before could not obtain through whatever means hindered them.

Within the cave system, in an open region would be a barrier chamber, glowing with a faint purple glow. Inside the chamber was a person, a male to be more exact, with his back against the wall giving the appearance that he was forced into the chamber somehow and the barrier was created to stop his fall. It didn't really seem like the barrier was running low on power, makes one wonder what technology would be like now if the war had never happened. Thinking about it, if the Zireh continued to improve  the war would have happened sooner or later, even though that is slightly off topic. Back on topic would be how to get this person out, which is not by force rather by chance. Probably by a random occurrence that a rock broke off from above and landed on the exact spot it took to shut down the barrier.

With the shut down of the barrier the male would fall to the ground hitting his head on the ground with a thump. That fall would be the trigger to his awakening, as all his memories would return to him in an instant even though all of that was irrelevant at the moment. Why? Because he just hit his head against the ground after finally being freed from that damn barrier for he doesn't know how many years. Further more based on how he was thrown into it, he was pretty damn pissed about it, who wouldn't be? Throwing a person into a barrier against their will, what kind of savages do that, its just inhuman, yes humans didn't do it but that is besides the point. Regardless, he would grip the back of his head while his upper body swung upwards from the pain.

    Ow dammit.

The chamber wasn't exactly desolate, rather there was another person who had come out of their preservation barrier a few moments before and was currently staring at this person with a mixture of surprise and hunger. This person was pretty massive easily around seven feet talk and built like a tank, then again most Yoroi were built like that after all they were made as killing machines. Now that honestly wasn't that big of a deal they were both Yoroi it didn't matter right they'd just get through together and something like that. Right? Wrong, it wasn't like that at all, who knew how the planet was or what had happened for oh so many years that they had been powered down. The fact was this person was hungry and a food source had conveniently landed in his area.

In fact it was as if some higher power wanted them to fight otherwise, why would it leave two blades just lying around untouched if it didn't want a fight to the death. Maybe it was supposed to be one for each of them but he wasn't exactly a fair person so he would keep them both. Of course he didn't notice the basin that was in the west corner of the room filled with a clear liquid which seemed to draw Rave in. No of course he didn't, after all that was Chaos's gift for his chosen. So were the blades but leave it to Chaos to require a bit of bloodshed to prove one's worth to him, and so the current predicament. Waking up in a dark room with a large person who was looking at you like some piece of meat, not the fun sexual way no the savory get in my stomach kind of way. It didn't help that said person would lick his lips before grinding the swords against each other, no that didn't help at all.

Hey...uh sorry about this, but a man's gotta eat. The massive yoroi said with a smile before lunging forward at D-rank speeds with a swipe to Rave's mid section, well that's life honestly not two seconds into the world and already faced with someone who wanted to kill you. Using the weapons meant for you, Chaos was a cruel deity it seems...wonder how the other chosen of Chaos were at the moment. It wasn't as if they were getting used as a chew toy by a jaguar or trapped in a building with overgrown leeches which craved human flesh..oh wait. Nevermind then, it seems universally Chaos wasn't exactly easy on those who chose him but now wasn't the time to focus on things like that, it seems a sharp object was trying to sever your upper body from your torso. Speaking of which...what were those wonderful looking weapons even made of.

Rubbing the back of his head, Rave would begin to look around the "room" if that was something people would call it. Of all the places he would reboot, it had to be in some random cavern. Speaking of which, he didn't remember being in a cavern when he was placed into the barrier. How the hell did he get into this place? He wondered as his eyes would first meet the barrier plate that he was placed into so many years ago. However his attention didn't stay there long before he heard the faint noticeable sound of metal clinging against metal. Such a familiar sound for this place is something he should have never been thinking, rather where was that sound coming from and was it something to bring attention to.

With the following of hearing a person's voice, it would seem his attention should have been brought to the sound a lot earlier. What came at him next was a giant, yeah that could describe this person, even for Zireh a person that big wasn't normal. Or it was, Rave has been "asleep" to long to remember, all he knew was that he was a Cypher and his people didn't come in size Godzilla. The person probably spent their free time picking cats from trees or beating his chest on top of the Empire State building like King Kong. Once that thought came Rave chuckled a little, yes a person was charging at him, but he thought of a slight joke that made him laugh.

    Ha, monkey.

Rave said under his breath as the distance closed quickly. Putting his hands on the ground, open palmed, behind him. Rave would lift himself about 2 inches off the ground before using his arm "muscles" to slide his body back, while leaning his upper body back to further increase the distance between the blades aimed at him and his body. Noting that Rave had never stood up, the only part of his body that was not on the ground was his upper body, so he prioritized that as the part of his body to defend. Once Rave's body was at equal positioning to his shoulders, he would force a stop while at the same time forcing himself forward lifting up his legs attempting to kick the person in the chest, simply to put some distance in between them. Unfortunately this whole encounter came at Rave completely at random and he would rather speak to this person than fight.

Can we talk this out, instead of fighting.

Well the Yoroi male paused for a second he had completely missed the monkey comment thankfully so he wasn't annoyed in addition to being hungry he was confused and when he began to lunge it would seem his food decided to be a little spicy and would kick off of him making him take a step back for a moment before he would sneer baring his teeth and hold the swords even tighter. It would seem his opponent was skilled at dodging, nice he didn't like food that just came to him easily, no he preferred to work for his kill. Now see the sorry was just courtesy but honestly I didn't think you would get the hint or dodge my first attack. he said moving his wrists so the metal blades in his hand would be spun in circles he would stay put however apparently thinking, he wasn't all that bright more so just huge and hungry.

The basin would sparkle making light where there was none but the Yoroi didn't see it as he was facing away from it only Rave would, and it's draw would seem to call out to his instincts something or someone was compelling him to touch it but it was so natural that he wouldn't even realize that he was being compelled to do so. So I'm going to say this only once and then I'm going to eat you. Get. In. Mah. Belleh! the yoroi said before charging forward at the same speed trying for a running tackle so he could pin Rave to the ground. The basin still sparkling and calling out to his food without his notice, it was time to think fast yet again but the other zireh didn't seem to want to be friends or be nice or anything of the sort. It made sense post apocalyptic world and of course their were cannibals right, only made sense, survival of the fittest and what not, why gain an ally when you can just eat them for food it made perfect sense in the Yoroi's brain.

The room itself had numerous rocks and stones which could be picked up and used as makeshift weapons, of course their was the strange basin, but Rave could choose to ignore it, but most importantly if he needed to flee their seemed to be an exit in the south of the room he would just have to find a way to out maneuver his opponent and make sure that they didn't follow. If Rave managed to get there he would reach a semi-dead end were rocks had collapsed leaving a hole large enough for him to crawl into but not anyone larger than himself, perhaps that was how he would make his get away. But was he the type to run from threats or stay and fight to his last dying breath, depends honestly.

Was it luck that was on Rave's side, even though he barely believed in it yet would admit to having good luck, or was the Yoroi just over confident in his abilities that he allowed Rave's hit to land. Well Yoroi weren't really the brightest bunch, considering that whole brains over brawn thing, it is no real surprise. Big boy in front of Rave was no exception, seriously who the hell randomly attacks a person saying they want to eat them, Rave wasn't a female, he wasn't bout being eaten for breakfast. It was god damn ridiculous and then this person continued to speak, what better could come from him. Was he gonna say, he wasn't going to eat Rave..actually that would be believable coming from a Yoroi, probably wouldn't be able to come up with a good enough lie. No, yeah, yeah, Rave was okay with it now after giving it a split second thought.

Back to the battle. Recapping this encounter, Rave began in the barrier, the barrier turned off, Rave fell backward, then this person attacked. Now that we have caught up, it must be noted again that Rave fell backward. Bluntly meaning that the Yoroi would have came from in front of him with his initial attack passing over the barrier pad. Rave's kick was to put distance in between them but not in the form of Rave being farther from the Yoroi, rather the Yoroi being farther from Rave, in this situation yes there was a difference. The main difference being that Rave's initial position after the kick would not have moved. Luckily the Yoroi had taken a step back, if not his whole body then part of his body would be on the barrier pad.

That one part was all Rave needed. Considering that Rave was now falling, since he launched himself into the air, not that high to be specific, one leg would bring itself down on a button. This button that will switch back on the barrier hopefully catching part of the Yoroi's body. Who really knows what happens when only part of a person's body is caught in the barrier. Has that ever been attempted before, especially while the part of the body is still fully connected. Well we are going to find out, and regardless if the Yoroi keeps the part of his body that is on the barrier pad or not, it will prove to decrease his speed in some way.

    What the hell is that.

He thought to himself. Originally he didn't notice it thanks to being thrown into a battle almost immediately. But now he got a glimpse of some light. It was shiny, how did they know Rave liked shiny, he loved it almost as much as he loved cand...no he would never go there. Anyway something in him was telling him to go over there, he would need to deal with big boy first but yeah he would need to go check what was calling to him. Hopefully it was something good because if things would progress like this Rave would need some help, thinking about it, the Yoroi's swords look good. Is it still considered stealing in this new world, eh its not stealing if you don't get caught or the person you are stealing from is dead.
