Npc's also known as Non-Player Characters are encountered on random, there are three types of these Npc's that can be encountered.
These are the most basic npc's and are non combatants purely for story purposes and are the only types that Members can create on random merely to enhance the quality of their roleplay and give their characters more depth and story-lines which extend past what Fate, Rave or myself have decided to formulate for them.
Lost Family Members
Friends, Ex-Lovers etc which have no combat abilities what so ever.
These are combat capable npcs and will appear on random as well as part of Tasks around the world, these vary from being one dimensional to being someone complex and they can even be persuaded into joining your character as members of your sect if you can manage to convert them from their previous faith. Likewise these are typically the fodder, minibosses etc of the various Tasks and Plot Arcs that will be developed over the course of the Rp. Likewise these can be created by Members but only if they get permission from the moderating staff if they are created however they will be incorporated into the member's character's plot and life in some form.
Former Friends/Lovers which have combat abilities.
These are the most important Npcs and comprise of recurring enemies, bosses, story only enemies and other things of that sort. Unlike the other stages there are only able to be created by the moderation staff and unlike the others are only controlled by them even outside of plots. They grow, adapt have their own backstories and function similar to pc characters even to the point that they can be recruited as allies or turned into enemies due to interactions in the Rp. A Stage 1 or 2 can turn into a Stage 3 at any time if enough encounters with them have occurred and once this happens they become key players in that specific characters life.
